About Sports Wire Report
Big sports news breaks fast and in a lot of places at once: a reporter's post on X, a wire story, a team announcement. Sports Wire Report puts the latest headlines from the major sports outlets on one fast, plain page, sorted by sport, with links straight to the original reporting.
What we do
- Collect headlines every few minutes from public feeds published by ESPN, CBS Sports, Yahoo Sports, Fox Sports, ProFootballTalk, MLB Trade Rumors, BBC Sport, The Guardian and others.
- Group them by sport and highlight fresh trades, signings, firings and injuries in red. The biggest story of the moment gets the siren.
- Point you to the most trusted insiders in each sport, the reporters who usually break news first, so you can follow them directly on X.
- Explain how sports news breaks in our guides.
What we do not do
- We do not republish articles. Every headline links to the original publisher, which owns its reporting, photos and trademarks.
- We are not affiliated with any league, team, publisher or reporter listed on the site.
- We do not accept payment to place or highlight a story.
How stories are chosen
Headlines are ordered newest first. A headline turns red when it is recent and reads like hard news (for example a trade, signing, firing or major injury). The siren marks the newest major story from the last few hours. All of this is automatic, so occasionally a headline is highlighted that a human editor would not pick.
Advertising
Sports Wire Report is free and supported by advertising. Ads are labeled and never affect which headlines appear.
